Childress

We went to Childress the week before Christmas.  We were able to have the annual Christmas nativity with the family and open presents.  It was lots of fun.  The week was so nice to just relax and enjoy the great company!  Brock also shot a few deer.  He loves the time he gets to hunt!

Stopped for Subway on the way there

The Nativity and Christmas presents
Bruce was so cute.  All of the kids were getting into costume down in the den and practicing their parts.  Bruce kept running up to us and saying, "I'm an angel!"  He probably came and told us about 6 times!

But isn't he the sweetest, cutest angel??

The cast

Oh yeah.  And after all of the hullabaloo about an angel he came out as Joseph!!  Still absolutely adorable!!!

My beautiful children

Luke got a remote control car from Nana and Papa.  He loved it!  Tyce did, too.  I just couldn't get him to sit still for a picture!

Bruce loved his gifts, too!

Brek got a "B".  Just what she wanted!

Just some silly boys eating something :)

Papa came home one day with this!  Oh boy!  They had so much fun!

Just a few of the grandkids having too much fun :)

Painting Brek's "B"
She got a little paint on her face

Beautiful

Uncle Kevin was just too much fun!  The boys were in wrestling mode with their shirts off.

When the weather finally warmed up the kids remembered that they had discovered a super cool tree house last time they were in Childress.  After that, I didn't see them for 2 days!  Too bad it was the last 2 days we were there that it was finally warm enough for that.  The boys had so much fun playing out there and setting booby traps! :)

Here is a booby trap that actually got Bruce!  It's a football covered with grass.

I took Tyce and Brek to United one day and they got super excited to see this shopping cart.  Unfortunately, it was for smaller children.  They were smooshed!   They were pretty mad that I made them get out.

And Tyce lost his other front tooth while we were there!  Perfect timing for Christmas!  "All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth!"
