Our first game was on Friday! It was fun to see Brock coaching once again. Unfortunately, it was a loss 30 - 55. The team was a lot bigger than us. We had fun, though!

Lunch box

So we get all the way to school this morning, park the car and are getting out when we realize Brek left her lunch box at home. So we go home to get it since we still had plenty of time. Go all the way back to school and now I have to drop them off out front since we don't have much time till school starts. Brek kind of throws a fit since now I'm just dropping her off instead of walking her in. A crossing guard offers to take her in. Awesome. I drive all the way home and am getting out of the car when I turn around and see this...

First Day of School

The first day of school for 2015 was on Monday! Brek and Tyce have been super excited to start (and maybe their mom was a little bit, too). They both had a great first day!

Brek is in 2nd grade this year and Tyce started kindergarten! I can't believe I have TWO in school! I have to admit, it was really nice and quiet only having Luke and Bruce home all day. I did miss my other two as well! It's just nice to finally get a break! We went shopping and had ZERO fights break out in the store! That's a record, people! Happy school year to the rest of y'all!

Elgin Wildcats

We have recently moved to Elgin, Texas where Brock received a great job working with some very seasoned coaches. It is a 5A school with a small town feeling (which I love). Brock has already learned a ton, and we are really enjoying it here.

This past Saturday all of the coaches had the opportunity to have their family pictures taken in addition to football pictures at 7:00AM. Yes, I was so excited to wake up that early. ;) It was good, though. Here are a few pictures I took with my phone afterwards.

Brek's 7th Birthday

Brek turned 7 on the 12th! I can't believe she's getting so old. She is my big girl and getting so mature. Since we spent almost the whole summer in Childress, she got to hang out with her Aunt Kacy a lot! Now she thinks she is 16 instead of 7!!! For school, I was shocked when she picked out a backpack that had a pretty pattern and not a Frozen one. She said that she wasn't a little girl anymore. What?!?! I told her she was still my little girl! Makes me a little bit sad. She chose to go to cheer camp as her birthday present from us, and she had a blast!
