May

Brock turned 30 May 4th!  Here he is with his birthday ice cream.

Lots of help blowing out the candles!

Brock and I were talking one night and the kids hopped in the tub.  We were really into our conversation so we just let them play.  I knew it was going to be bad, but boy was it bad!!!  This is what happens when you let 3 kids play in the tub for 15 minutes unsupervised!  Every single bottle of shampoo was empty!

Brek had field day the end of May.  Here are the boys cheering for Brek in the stands.

Here is Brek waiting for her turn for the frisbee throw.

Brek got 2nd in the sack race

1st in the 25 yard dash

1st in the 40 (?) yard dash

Here's my beautiful girl posing with her 3 medals

Can't forget Luke!

Here is Luke playing so nicely in the sprinkler.

And here are Brek and Tyce playing in the mud!  Every time they go outside they have to make a mud puddle and play in it.  Brek is the instigator.  You would think it would be the boys, but no, it is Brek!

I had to wash Brek's hair about 3 times to get all of that mud out!
She now has one swimsuit dedicated to the mud.

Clean Luke
He really doesn't care about playing in the mud.

April

The kids love playing outside!  One of their favorite things to do in April was to find as many snails as they could and "race" them.  Here they are gathering snails.  I was stalking them from the kitchen window.  And wow.  The boys really need haircuts!

Here is Luke "racing" one of his snails.  Can you see it on the slide between his legs?

One Sunday afternoon I sent the boys outside because they were going crazy inside.  I told them to stay out of the pool.  So what do they do?

Shoes and all!!!  My kids have been really scared of the rooster (Boastus) because he will chase them and try to get them.  Today they were brave and chased the chickens around throwing water at them.  This I believe was the beginning of their terrorizing the chickens.  Now I feel sorry for the chickens.

Here is Brek Easter egg hunting at her class party in the park.

And here is Tyce showing me that he has no eggs.  Poor boy.  He was so excited to hunt eggs, but I kept trying to tell him that it was just for Brek's class.

Here is Brek's class.  Brek was upset that she didn't get very many eggs so she was not being very cooperative for the picture.

One Saturday I got a phone call from my friend Charmayne inviting us to an Easter party.  I told her I wasn't feeling well but that we would love to go if I got to feeling better.  Maybe Brock and the kids could go.  Later Brock kept bugging me saying we needed to go and that I probably just needed to get up and I would feel better.  So I got ready and we went in for the party.  It was a surprise baby shower for me!  So sweet!  So Brock took the kids back to Sabinal to go to an Easter egg hunt in the park.  Here they are with their friend Trey.

The hunt was sponsored by a local church so here are the kids listening to the sermon before the hunt.

March

In March, we were able to go to Childress and then Lubbock for Billy and Celesta's sealing.  So exciting!  We had so much fun and loved seeing all of our family.  Of course this is the only decent picture I was able to get though.  This was at the hotel where everyone was staying.  Brek was so excited to go swimming.  Tyce was super nervous and would not let loose of his death grip on Brock.  I have some other cute pics, but they are on my phone so I'll have to post those later.

Here are the boys at Hog Fest!  We love Hog Fest!
They are looking at all of the pigs that were kept behind the stands (way more exciting than actually watching people catch the pigs).

This year Brock entered in the contest!  Here he is after catching a pig with one of his football players Jon Moore.  They did a really good job.  There were a ton of teams entered in this session of the festival.  They barely missed getting a medal.  I'll have to see if I can upload the video of Brock catching the pig later!

I tried to get the kids to all go take a picture with Daddy, but he was "so stinky!"  He had mud all over him from the pig, so no, he did not smell so hot. :)  That was as close as Brek would get to him.

Brock took the kids back that night while I went to Women's Conference and entered them in the contest as well.  Apparently none of the kids had the courage to catch any pigs so Brock grabbed the pigs' feet and let the kids touch their feet to get a ribbon.

February

Happy birthday to Tyce!!!
Tyce turned 4 on February 4th!  He loves Batman and pretty much any superhero so we decided to make a Batman cake.

Tyce was pretty excited about this book from Nana.
He was also really excited about all of the fun superhero toys he got from everyone!

January

These two are best buds!  They always have so much fun together.

While we were in Childress a friend of the family was there and they caught a baby wild pig.  The kids were getting up the courage to pet it.  Here is Luke getting brave enough.

Back at home the kids found presents from Santa under the tree.  They all got new bikes!

At Brek's awards assembly in January she got a very special award for good manners!  Only one person gets this award each semester (or is it 6 weeks?  I'm not sure since it's been so long!).  She got a $10 gift card to Subway!  So proud of my good girl!
