Too Early

This morning Luke woke up early.  He woke up at 6:00 AM which for this momma is too early!  My kids do usually wake up around 7:15 so they are not late sleepers, but this is just too much!  And he's been doing it quite a bit here lately.  Usually when this happens I spend the whole morning lounging around waiting for a chance to doze back off.  This morning that didn't really happen.  At about 8:30 Brek was laying on one side of me on the couch and Tyce on the other and they were making me fall off.  In frustration, I finally said, "You guys are so mean!"  To which Brek replied, "And you are so lazy!"

In case you are wondering, Brek still has a "sticky" fetish.  We have broken her of all of her stickies, but the one that she has discovered here lately that just cracks me up is Luke's "sticky feet"!!!!  And she loves to touch her feet to his to feel the stickiness.  She's so crazy!   His feet were always mysteriously hanging out of all of his onesies.

Brock "coached" a flag football game at the end of the school year.  He took Tyce early and the rest of us didn't make it in time for "kickoff" so this is where Tyce ended up the whole game.  Isn't he so cute?? 

Brock pretty much had to give out every boy award for the sports banquet because all of the other coaches had already accepted positions elsewhere and had moved.  This is where we ended up during it!  Outside on the playground!  I felt bad that we weren't able to be there to support him, but oh well!  It was definitely better this way.

They were nice and sweaty by the end of the night. 

Best Friends

This post is about how much my children love eachother (for the most part)...

When Luke was teeny tiny the kids had to go find him every morning (which usually meant getting in the bed with him and waking him up)

One day after coming in from somewhere Tyce just laid down with Luke like this for a long time.  I thought he was asleep!  They both just chilled there for a while!

Every morning Tyce tells me, "I want to play with Yute (Luke)!"  He loves his little brother so much and could play with him all day long.  

Just the other night Tyce was sleeping on the floor in our room and I had to go get Luke (he woke up early that morning and was crying).  I hear Tyce over the side of the bed say, "I'm right here, buddy."

Tyce turns 2!!!
