First Day of School

The first day of school for 2015 was on Monday! Brek and Tyce have been super excited to start (and maybe their mom was a little bit, too). They both had a great first day!

Brek is in 2nd grade this year and Tyce started kindergarten! I can't believe I have TWO in school! I have to admit, it was really nice and quiet only having Luke and Bruce home all day. I did miss my other two as well! It's just nice to finally get a break! We went shopping and had ZERO fights break out in the store! That's a record, people! Happy school year to the rest of y'all!

Elgin Wildcats

We have recently moved to Elgin, Texas where Brock received a great job working with some very seasoned coaches. It is a 5A school with a small town feeling (which I love). Brock has already learned a ton, and we are really enjoying it here.

This past Saturday all of the coaches had the opportunity to have their family pictures taken in addition to football pictures at 7:00AM. Yes, I was so excited to wake up that early. ;) It was good, though. Here are a few pictures I took with my phone afterwards.

And I have to add this one because Bruce is so cute! Luke loves taking pictures...

Brek's 7th Birthday

Brek turned 7 on the 12th! I can't believe she's getting so old. She is my big girl and getting so mature. Since we spent almost the whole summer in Childress, she got to hang out with her Aunt Kacy a lot! Now she thinks she is 16 instead of 7!!! For school, I was shocked when she picked out a backpack that had a pretty pattern and not a Frozen one. She said that she wasn't a little girl anymore. What?!?! I told her she was still my little girl! Makes me a little bit sad. She chose to go to cheer camp as her birthday present from us, and she had a blast!

June '14

My parents came to San Antonio for an Edward Jones conference the end of June. We went in to San Antonio to the River Walk to hang out with them one day and swim in their pool, listen to a Mariachi Band, and eat good food!

My parents came back to Sabinal to hang out with us for a day or 2 to see if the baby would come. No such luck since my babies love to come a week late. We even did a mile hike up to a pond to fish and swim.

One morning, Papa decided to fix Brek's bike and teach her how to ride without training wheels! Yay!

I got a new phone at the beginning of the year, and I've actually gotten better pics on it than my camera!! So here are a few pics from my phone...

Brek waiting to go in for the ultrasound with me where she found out she'd be having ANOTHER brother! She was very disappointed and put her head down on the table and pouted for a while. She really wanted a sister! Later she told me that it would be okay that it was a boy as long as he was as cute as her brothers were when they were babies. :)
